Goodie paper bag!

Hurrah! thanks to my brother abby for helping me to place the order for the paper bag and have it send direct to his office...

i can't imagine if those paper bag were to arrive at my office...not sure how do i bring 2 hugeeee boxes containing 1200 paper bags downstairs on my own...

fuhhh...

we're starting to stamp all the paper bags tonight...was having difficulties to stamp it right at first...but haidir made a great discoveries to wrap our based with tissue for better outcome :)

andddddd here's what we managed to complete tonight:

next i just need to buy the paper bag as well as the stamp pad...and i can start stamping the 1200 paper bag...

Pengapit Frozen

I received a remark saying "macam tema frozen pulak" when I pass the fabrics & hijab to one of my bridesmaid yesterday....hehe...honestly, I never thought of frozen when I choose this as the theme colour for my pengapit...(Though I really loveeeee the movie Frozen) haha! in my mind at that time was only MINT GREEN! walaupun tak minty sangat...but i loved it anyway... :)

Here's what every of my bridesmaid get:

1. A fabric for kurung/kurung moden/kebaya/dress (up to them) 

2. A white hijab...

I really hope they like it :) I'm sure they're gonna look beautiful in this colour...

Here's a very simple card that I designed for the bridesmaid & groomsmen...using the same tones of colour, I include my fiance's favorite motive design - the quatrefoil...as the background :)

On the groomsmen card it says: I finally found the girl. But I still need my guys. Will you be my groomsmen?

As for the girls' card:  I finally found my man . But I still need my girls. Will you be my bridesmaid?

Since I do not own a printer, I went high and low looking for a printing shop in Nilai....haha! sampai taman semarak okayyy! 

but I really loveeeeee the final look...simple and sweet....nak bagi orang biar proper kan....baru la org motivated nak jd pengapit...hehe :)

Kufi design

I asked Mellyna's Studio to design the Kufi for our name...and here's the outcome:

I'm totally loving it!
I purposely requested for the red colored love symbol to be in the middle...at first, he said it's actually pretty challenging to create the box in the middle...but he said, he'll see what he can do...and alhamdulillah...the outcome is amazing!

Hence, I'm gonna totally recommend Mellyna Studio to everyone who wanted to design kufi of their names...price wise, pretty reasonable for the beautiful artwork and they even do kufi printing on canvas...anddddd they are very punctual...which is what I love the most about them...janji hari ahad, ahad siap...yeayyy!

So what am I gonna do with the design?
Here's what i have in mind:

1. Wedding stamp (to be stamped on paperbags)
2. On the hardcover box
3. Incorporate it in our wedding card design
4. On welcome board with our pre wedding shoots
5. still thinking....



Here's what the wedding stamp is going to look like...red love tu akan jadi hitam jugak kot pasal stamp pad hitam...I planned to stamp it on both side of white paper bag & tie it with a ribbon :) ...

Nice kannnn...sangat sangat puas hati...kejap lagi nak pi order wedding stamp...yeay! :)

Baked with love.

After the successful attempt (ehem..) of baking carrot cupcakes for Abby's engagement hantaran, a week later, I've decided to bake another carrot cake for my office tahlil & potluck. 

Only this time, i'm on my own....no mama to refer in the kitchen...haha! 

Only mama's note as my reference and I had to change the icing recipe since I forgot to buy the cream cheese...heheh...So, I just pasrah-ly use butter, icing sugar, vanilla essence, lemon zest and juice!

comot memot...but not bad! hehe...so I decided do bake another cake, a few days later, to surprise Peter on his birthday...but since I only have few hours to bake it, I figured I should opt for simpler cake...after a quick googling, i decided to bake lemon cake...(besides, i thought to myself: who doesn't like lemon!)

took the recipe from Martha Steward's page ...this is my first time baking a lemon cake from scratch...and this is not bad at all right???? looking good so far.....

until i put on the icing and went overboard with the decoration...hahaha! 

(blame the over excitement..huhu)

cam nak nangis tengok kek ni sebab i dun have mixer at home, so everything pukul pakai tangan sampai tumbuh muscles....huhuhuhuh... T_T

Now I'm thinking of baking my own wedding cake later since I still got the time to practice now (harapan laaaa) tapi takut nanti cake dah siap cantikkk, perantin tak siap siap lagi...haha!

I wanted something like this before...simple and elegant!

but after giving it a thought, I might wanna opt for something much much simpler like the screen grab below...

(minus the flags please! haha...) and all I need to find is one beautiful cake stand for my cake...

Abby's engagement :)

Finally, the day has come...Abby and Azza are now offically engaged!

The engagement ceremony was held at Azza's at Pontian Kecil...oh wow the food was sooooo owh lazatttt and variety...sedap sangat! (nak buat camane dah mmg tekak johor...haha!)

alhamdulillah we arrived on time at Pontian that day...in fact, early! hehe lepak kt masjid jamek pontian sambil sempat serbu boot cik city utk segala makanan yang disediakan sejak awal pagi lagi... :) nasi goreng, sandwich telur, sandwich sardin, carrot cake, air panas with coffee & tea sachet...sgt perfect dengan cuaca yang mendung redup sejuk hrtu... :) 

few family members convoy with us on that day...thank you mak lang, pak lang, kak nadia, pak teh, mak teh, mira, cik madi and family, wak long and family and not to forget my darling uwan and nyai! :)

as for the gubahan hantaran...by one and only mwa aka kakak perantin... :p 5 dulangs from our side:

1. The ring :)

2. Carrot cupcake....homemade by mama, ilya & i...

3. Sireh Junjung...

4. Fruits in cage...haha!

5. Bride's nikah attire...

Alhamdulillah...

The ceremony went smooth as planned...congratulation Abby & Azza...now boleh focus plan kawen kita...hihihi...

Hello!

Went for kain hunting for le famille with mama last month. Here's what we bought @ Nilai Square: 

Kain mitsubishi, according to the salesperson...very soft, i love it! One for Abby's reception & bertandang reception at Seremban, another one is for our reception in Muar...haven't decided which is for which event yet...hehe...raya pun boleh pakai :) the most important thing, everybody will don the same sedondon outfit...baru la nampak satu family perantin :)

Bought the lace for the ladies outfit at Pertama Complex...I always bought my border lace from there...so i don't really know other places...haha!

Can't wait to see everyone in the same outfit! yeay! Thank you mama belanja kain!

My wedding blog!

Been working on it since Monday :) hehehe...i wanted to get my own domain but then again, owh, what the heck, i'll just use the blog...hehe...initialy i wanted to have a page to embed the google form that i did to gather address for invitation later....but after giving a thought, why not make one simple page where people can refer to the details of the wedding such as  map to the venue, contact person, etc....convenient kan? :)

I honestly didn't plan to buy anything...the plan was only to accompany my best friend to shop for her soon to keluar baby :)

see the paper bags are all babies brand...hehe...

anyway, after she finished, we had our lunch and i said maybe i should try to look for wedding shoes...and so we did...

i loveeee lewré shoes...i saw one in isetan at the gardens the other day but it was not available in my size...and i couldn't find one that i really like at the boutique yesterday either...tho i like how the shoes fit me perfectly...praying and hoping nxt visit ada design baru for bridal shoe :)

loveeee zang toi's in the pic above (2 box below) but it's not available in off white or ivory...it's salmon in colour and totally off...i can't wear that with my wedding dress...*sad

and finally, we stopped at chanel...wanted to see the make up and the price...but hello, chanel memang takkan laaaa pernah ada discount...in your dream...haha!

and owh well, i ended up buying the whole set for my hantaran..woohoo!

satu dulang settle...nxt 2 months nak datang lagi for perfume set pulak. :)
